i want to learn from you

i've been dreaming of vintage dresses and mismatched clothing for weeks now. i want to rework/remix thriftstore finds. i want to create a whole line of just my style and make it work. i want to take a step out of the normal and actually feel comfortable being ME. these lovely girls are pushing me to that dream and i'm so excited to start the spring off with a wonderful start.

first its this lovely girl over at idee geniale her style is so beautiful and she pairs the prettiest stuff with almost a gentleman feel. she is also part of a group of girls that share clothes and make that item their own. such a wonderful idea.


second is a girl a lot of people admire. she is vintage beautiful and i wish to be like her. miss amanda. everything from gloves to hats and killer coats. *swoon*


last but not least is a finnish girl in love with a bear.milla. her woodish style and simple life make such a pretty wardrobe. she's not afraid to layer mismatched clothes and they look adorable on her. she makes me want to run off to the woods and live creativly.

Celebration Time!

this weekend one of my best friends turned "25". she is currently in boot camp down in lawton, ok. hope you had a good birthday with your bunk mates. can't wait to see you again so we can celebrate. april 1st isn't coming soon enough. love you bunches heather!

a simple craving

for the past week i have been dreaming of a new pair of jordans. i'm pretty sure i need another pair for 2010. they are comfy and way cute. i think the tall ones would be so cute with some skinny jeans and a cute tee. *sigh* i'm in love.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RVA!

One year ago a beautiful store that goes by the name of RED VELVET ART became a reality. I was so excited that I was able to attend the grand opening and start the friendships that i now have with miss Elsie Flannigan and Rachel Denbow. I want to thank the two of them for having this great thing called RVA and to have the opportunity to bring so many people together. I have started so many new amazing friendships through the love of RVA and all the fun that it brings. I found a few photos of the grand opening and im so happy that i have so many photos from the past year. yay! loves!

this is the word:

last weekend my computer wanted to have a mind of its own and try to catch a virus. everything was locking up and disappearing. i had to leave my computer with my cousin so he could try and revive it and make sure i didn't loose all my photos...i would have cried (wait..i did cry)but he was able to make me virus free and all my photos were there when i got my baby back. so i'm back now and able to start this blog process for the year. thanks everyone for sticking with me.
